I wanted to create a collection that honours a time of growth and change. I started to reference the 1920’s as inspiration, it was a time of great change. Sometimes in an effort to ease tension people look for outlets to escape.
Dancing was huge in the 20’s, it was a time when the “Charleston” emerged on the scene and allowed people to let their hair down and be playful.
