SAHABA offers the most premium advanced Accredited Hairdressing course in South Africa. Accepting 20 students a year, each will be receiving a professional Hairdressing kit.
Our course offers students hands-on immersive experience in small highly exclusive classes. Allowing our students to master the art of hairdressing and creating the structure for students to perform to their fullest potential.
The National Qualification in conjunction with one year full time at SAHABA will take an additional 2 years in a suggested salon to complete.
During the first year at the academy, learners will complete the knowledge and practical modules. After that, they need to work for 2 years (full time) in a registered hair salon to complete the required workplace hours as stipulated by the Department of Higher Education.
At the end of year 3, and after successful completion of the Trade Test, the learner will receive their national Occupational Certificate in Hairdressing NQF Level 4 (SAQA ID: 102497).
This Red seal trade test certificate is the only nationally recognized Hairdressing Qualification in South Africa.

Highly esteemed industry guests will visit the academy during the course of the year to expose the learners to valuable information that they have gained through working as hairstylists in the industry.
Course Entry Requirements:
No matric certificate is needed, but learners must be older than 16 years of age.
Course Starting Date: 17 February 2025
Class Times: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Payment Schedule:
Deposit R15500.00 registration fee and after enrolment a monthly fee of R7500.00 for 11 months, payable from 31 January 2025 to 30 November 2025.
Course fee: Total Amount R98 000.00 includes your kit, uniform, learning material, equipment, products, registration, assessment uploads and textbook.
