Council Office Festive Season Closings
The Council’s Offices will close at 12h00 on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will re-open on Tuesday, 3 January 2023. Should you need to communicate with the Council during this period, please kindly email: amend@hcsbc.co.za.
EOHCB Membership Fees 2023
The Council has received notice of the EOHCB Membership Fees for 2023 (See below and attached).
The EOHCB Membership Fees will increase with effect from 1 January 2023 and may be accessed via the Council’s website. (For those of you receiving your Returns and the Chronicle via email, you can click below.

Reminder: Exemption Applications
This is an important reminder that:
• Exemptions are valid for only one calendar year. Each year, an application for exemption must be submitted for all employees.
• Exemptions for the 2023 calendar year will be heard until the 28 February 2023. If no application is received, pension invoices will be raised. It important to apply as soon as possible.
Council Offices - Johannesburg: Telephones
The Council offices in Johannesburg have once again been left without telephony services due to cable theft. A new system is in the process of being installed and should be up and running from the third week of January. In the meantime, the Johannesburg Council office will be provided with an interim number which will be posted on the website as soon as it is received. HBSI Pension Fund Benefit Statements & Contact Details
It appears that there are a number of HBSI Pension Fund members who have not provided to, or updated their contact details with the Fund, and as a result will not receive their benefit statements. Please will you kindly inform your employees to log onto the Verso website.
