Need New Stylists? How to Market your Vacancy by Phil Jackson of Build Your Salon, UK

Phil Jackson, of Build Your Salon, UK, explains that a lot of salon owners are disappointed when they advertise for new staff, and that this is because all their media is set up to appeal to clients.

If potential new stylists take a look at your salon’s social media, they should see immediately why your salon is a wonderful place to work. To do this you should ensure that at least 20 percent of your posts are about why people are happy working for you. Emphasising your friendly team, and your focus on training and development of staff, will be helpful when you are seeking new stylists who want to progress in their careers.
