Making Good, Better with INFO-torials from My Salon Software


Having TUTORIALS available is always a big PLUS when using a Software programme and MYSALON SOFTWARE has received many compliments from its many users.


In our quest to ‘MAKE GOOD, BETTER’ we will be releasing a series of ‘INFO-torials’ showing the fabulous information available to you when using our system.


CLIENTS

We know that your CLIENTELE is the heart of your business but have you ever wondered how many new clients you are getting and which marketing strategy produces the most new clients? Have you also wondered how many clients come back to you?


HOW TO FIND THIS INFORMATION ON MYSALON SOFTWARE.

I’m sure you are familiar with the Client Source function. (SETTINGS > CLIENT SOURCES)



When adding a NEW client it is PARAMOUNT that to select the source of your NEW client.


Regardless of the original ‘Source’, the system automatically re-labels the client as Regular when she returns to your business (as long as you have added their cell number) because ‘they can’t be a first-time-client more than once’.



In your KPI report (ADVANCED REPORTS > KPI)



You are able to pull this report month by month to monitor Client Sources.


Using MySalon’s powerful filtering function, you are able to pull valuable client reports. GENERAL > SEND SMS and GENERAL > SMS FILTER



CLIENTS GROUPS

As your client data base grows it becomes more difficult to manage.

Try allocating clients to groups to make it easier to manage. SETTINGS > CLIENT GROUPS.


You will then be able to view clients belonging any specific group. GENERAL > CLIENT DATA BASE > SEARCH.

N.B Clients can be added to any number of GROUPS.


TOP SPENDING CLIENTS

Following the 80/20 rule that 20% of your client provide 80% of your turnover, it makes sense to be able to monitor your top spending clients. GENERAL REPORTS > TOP SPENDING CLIENTS.



Review this report on a monthly basis and, most importantly, monitor the date of last visit. This information should be shared with your staff regularly as a prevention to Client loss.


CLIENT PREFERENCES

Having your clients’ personal preferences on record ensures a continuity instead a stop-start relationship. SETTINGS > PREFERENCE TYPES. Keep colour formulae, health issues, hair/ skin integrity, even how the clients like their refreshments.



Preferences are easy to update on your client’s personal profile.
