Local Inspiration from Kendra at Smaak Hair

An incredible before and after blonde balayage from Kendra at Smaak Hair in Johannesburg.

Process

I did a variation of thick and fine balayage techniques with Wella Blondor and 6%. Saturating the ends and blending up to break through some old color and bring in more light and blonde.

Towards the front, I went a bit higher with the foiling, doing a balayage, slice, and fine baby lights to have more definition. I left a slice in between to allow her natural to be the root melt, not blending the blonde too high up.

The toner I used, was to keep a little bit of golden vibes but absolutely no yellow, so I used Kadus 8/38 + 8/81 + a squish of 7/3, both have ash in to kill the yellow but keep the honey kissed colour with the 7/3 helping level the tone a bit to blend.
