These online-only awards were held for the first time in 2020 and have had a fabulous response from our industry each year. The Annual Hairnews Awards aim to recognize excellence, creativity and leadership throughout our awesome industry. They are entirely online and are free to enter or be nominated!
The awards will officially be open for entries and nominations on the 4th OCTOBER 2024 and NO entries will be accepted before this date.

These are nomination and voting categories where you can nominate Supplier and Product Ranges within South Africa that have truly inspired, supported, empowered and wowed you as a stylist or salon.

General Rules, to help you prepare for the awards and avoid your entry being disqualified!
NO entries or nominations will be accepted before the 4th October 2024.
You must be a resident in South Africa to enter.
Entries & nominations must include your name, contact number, salon name and town of residence.
Entries must include your model/client’s first name and confirm that you have permission to publish their photos on a public platform.
You may submit a MAXIMUM of two (2) separate entries/nominations per category.
NO cross over entries will be allowed in the creative categories.
Each entry/nomination must be emailed separately.
Ensure your email is NOT larger than 3 MB. Please resize photos before sending.
The official competition opening will be announced in Hairnews on Friday 4th October and we will publish more information on the competition and timeline.
