This Year’s Theme Was CIRCUS

Held on Thursday 31st October at the Social Hub in Alberton.

Packed venue with 140 guests in a beautifully decorated venue.

What Sets This Competition Apart?

A completely student-driven competition -  from selecting the theme to the intricate planning, the students own the entire process, transforming it into a vital learning experience that builds confidence and marketing savvy.

This event wasn’t just about skill—it's about empowering future hairstylists to carve out their place in the industry with a bold personal brand and creative flair.

14 Students Competed This Year, Showcasing Their Skill, Flair & Individalism

The competition gave 14 students an exciting and unique platform to market themselves and gain an edge in an increasingly competitive industry. By choosing their themes, students draw from their personalities, inspirations, and artistic visions, creating styles that are as unique as they are. Each look, cut, and colour isn’t just a hairstyle but a canvas of individual expression, speaking volumes about each student’s potential and creative spirit.

Each student’s model got a chance to walk the red carpet, showing off the uniquely styled looks for the people. Judges had a further chance to take closer looks at each one of the exceptional creations and finalise scores to their satisfaction.

Our students themselves then walked down the carpet with their models in the grand finale, presenting an amazing spectacle of hair glory, before the thrilled  winners were announced.
