Waiting in the wings stood twelve of Wella’s finest stylists ready to show judges, peers, and friends their artistic vision. For many it took months, even years to prepare for this career-defining moment. One by one walked onto stage with their models showing the audience their interpretation of this year’s hair trends.
All visionaries in their own right…yet only two could be the Color Artist and Creative Artist of the year.
This year the titles belonged to FLORIN NEACSU for Color Vision and CHARLES JUNIOR LOUW for Creative Vision!
Congratulations to all the finalists that placed in TrendVision Award 2019! Sunday night’s Wella TrendVision Award proved once again that our industry is brimming with incredibly talent. The event was a culmination and celebration of local hair artistry.
Color Vision Winners
GOLD: Florin Neacsu from Excentric
SILVER: Yvonne Bryson from Pasquale Hairstylists
BRONZE: Melinda Marx from Terry Scott Hairdressing
Creative Vision Winners
GOLD: Charles Junior Louw from Hashtag Colour Lounge
SILVER: Carla Klue from Haus of Klue
BRONZE: Nicolas Anamourlis from Nikolas Michael Salon.
Both GOLD winners will represent South Africa at the International TrendVision Retreat in March 2020.
The retreat is a 3-day event that includes exclusive mentoring and coaching sessions. Winners will work in a team and learn from top global guest artists. Teams will ultimately compete during the three days for the coveted Couture Collection Award, as well as other signature accolades.
