What an event! Turnout was huge at the Duel of the Barbers competition held at Feathers Investment Cars in Paarl on Sunday 26 August. Never before have I seen so much enthusiasm, interest and talent at a Barbering event.
The showmanship and level of techniques was off the charts, in the end it had to come down to technical points to get to the final result.
Four Wisemen and three Judges later the results were as follows:
Young Blood – Ryan Honeycombe
Perfect Cut – Jason Versfeld
Street Style – Rian van Skaap
And the main event, the DUEL featured Rian van Skaap versus Aidon Amos in a nail biting final with cheers so loud they almost blew the roof off! AIDON AMOS delivered a super cool and accurate performance, to be crowned as the duel winner.
