Modern Twist

Classic Hollywood glam! A hairdo reminiscent of the 1940s easy as 1,2,3.

FORMULA

• Apply warm water to prepare the hair for shampooing.

• Cleanse the hair with Ladine Deep Cleansing Shampoo twice (use 5ml and rinse out with warm water and then repeat the same process again).

• After shampooing, blot dry the hair and apply 5ml of Ladine Conditioning Blow-Dry Lotion and massage into the hair. Follow this with a blow-wave.

• Use Ladine Scalp Treatment to base the scalp, massage onto the scalp.

• Now apply 2 drops of Ladine Silicone Serum into the palm of your hands, rub it in and massage into the hair. Then use the curling iron at 220 degrees to flat iron the hair straight.

• Use a paddle brush to create a path / sectioning off on the left-hand side / Parietal Ridge area of your client, leaving more volume and length to the right-hand side.

• On the shorter left-hand section, hold and twist flip the hair upwards towards the back of the ear and push it flat to the nape area – use a gripping pin to hold down and blend this section with the back straightened part of the hair.

• Working on the right hand, lengthier side of the hair, twist flip the hair upwards a little bit higher than the left section and with the gripping pin, pin hold and blend this section with the back straightened part of the hair.

• Finish it off with Ladine’s Brazil Nut Oil to remove static and to add shine.

Glam Curl

We’re excited to see all of the 1920s-inspired beauty looks surface again. Defined by its distinct finger wave pattern, this ’20s hairstyle looks stunning on both short and long-haired ladies. We love how this look has evolved throughout the years, as stars like Nicole Richie and Rihanna have sported the sophisticated hair do on the red carpet.

FORMULA

• Start off with a thorough hair analysis and consultation.

• Base the scalp and hairline area with Barrier Lotion for scalp and hair line protection.

• Apply 5ml of PreFix on the hair from root to tip to protect the hair cuticles and prevent chemical damage.

• Commence with a relaxer service using Ladine Relaxertec relaxer for the recommended period of time according to manufacturer’s standards, using the strength suitable for your client (Young & Gentle, Regular or Super).

• Rinse the chemical relaxer with lukewarm water for 10 minutes and then blot-dry the hair.

• Apply Ladine BioComplex and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

• Now use 5ml of Ladine’s Neutralizing Shampoo to close the cuticles and cleanse the hair.

• Rinse out with warm water and repeat the same process again if needed. Blot-dry the hair and trim split-ends.

• Now apply 5ml of Shape and Style Foam on the hair from the forehead moving back – creating finger wave patterns. Repeat the same process right through to the back of the head.

• When finished sculpting/shaping with finger waves, put the hair under a hood dryer to fix the finger waves into place.

• When dry… your client is good to go.

Raven Bob

The classic bob never fades out of fashion. It’s fashionable, stylish and super sexy. Short bob hairstyles are a great pick for women of all ages.

FORMULA

• Apply warm water to prepare the hair for shampooing.

• Cleanse the hair with Ladine Deep Cleansing Shampoo twice (use 5ml and rinse out with warm water and then repeat the same process again).

• Now apply Hair Repair Treatment to the hair, cover the hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 15 minutes under the hood dryer to restore the hair’s protein and moisture. After 15 minutes rinse out with warm water and blot-dry.

• Apply 5ml of Conditioning Blow-Dry Lotion and massage into the hair. Blow-wave the hair.

• Now add hair extensions (100% human hair) for added volume and body. Use a bonding technique (hair glue) to bond the hair extensions to the hair. Create small sections in the hair by guiding the hair extensions horizontally in a half-moon method.

• When done with the bonding, base the scalp with Ladine Nutri-E for scalp nourishment.

• Apply 2 drops of Ladine Silicone Serum into the palm of your hands and massage into the hair, then use the curling iron at 220 degrees to iron the hair into a thick curl formation. Brush the hair thereafter.

• Use a pair of scissors and a cutting comb, carefully cut and shape the hair into a Raven Bob.

• Using a styling comb, finish the shape and look by brushing through Brazil Nut Oil for added shine.

It’s a Curl Thing

This bold half pinned, half straightened look takes away from inspiring styles of the ’70s. A great face framing hairdo that balances a bouncy textured look along with beautifully straightened hair.

Rinse.

• Follow this with an application of Ladine’s Neutralizing Shampoo to neutralize the alkalinity of the hair. This will also remove all traces of chemicals from the relaxer service that was done. • Blow-dry the hair with a small application of Ladine’s Conditioning Blow-Dry Lotion.

• Apply extensions and weave into natural hair, if extra length and volume is desired (optional).
