Sonnyboy Magano started his career at Gary Rom Hairdressing, developing his business skills as well as his creative talent, and working on Fashion Weeks and pageants including Miss Teen SA. He was then approached by the owner of Mane Salon, Melrose Arch, to manage the new salon and appoint a team. This salon was extremely celebrity focused and in this exciting environment, Sonnyboy built a name for himself. Three years ago he started his own salon – Sonnymagic Hair Beauty Lounge, which today is located at 361 Jan Smuts Avenue, Craighall Park.
Styling numerous celebs, Sonnyboy keeps a humble approach in a comfortable salon that feels like a home from home, while making sure that their every need is fulfilled and that food and drink are available so they can unwind while their hair is done.
