Some salons have been experiencing difficulties with claiming UIF TERS. The latest updates, kindly provided by the Bargaining Council, are as follows:
• Applications may now be done online only
• Applications for the April UIF claims are still open and there is no closing date as yet.
• Applications for May UIF claims have not yet opened.
Here is the info and explanations on exactly how you can apply to assist your staff at this time.
The process is simple if you understand how to save excel to csv (there is an explanation in this article). As you process the info there are pop ups that assist as well.

Once your application is successful you receive the following automated response on email:
Dear User,
Do not respond to this e-mail address, as this mailbox does not receive return mail.
You have successfully submitted employee details.
If your claim is VALID, ACCURATE and COMPLETE your payment will be processed within ten (10) days from the date of the verification
