Slick Salon Solutions is made up of a powerhouse of industry knowledge and long lasting professional relationships. The team combined has a whopping 120 years of experience in the Professional Hair & Beauty realm.
Meet the Team
Brandon Randall
Brandon joined L’Oréal in 1996 as a Sales Consultant for both L’Oréal Professional and Kérastase. Then being appointed as Key Accounts Manager for L’Oréal Professional in 1999. Being promoted to Commercial Director of Redken in 2003 and proving his worth further he took on the challenge of General Manager of Matrix in 2007. After 14 years with the Beauty Powerhouse, Brandon took a leap of faith and opened Slick Salon Solutions and has been the Managing Director since 2011.
Laura Randall
Joined L’Oréal in 1995 in Durban on Lancome, winning top Sales in 1998 and having the opportunity to visit both Paris & London. Then she worked abroad in the UK on the sales team for both Lancome and Elizabeth Arden. Returning home she joined the L'Oréal Professional Products Team in representing both Kérastase and L’Oréal Professional. In 2001 she left L’Oréal and moved to Johannesburg as a sales consultant for Elizabeth Arden. Then she made the move into professional nail products with Essie and looking after the Foschini’s and Dream Nail groups. Returning back to L’Oréal in 2007 as the Vichy Key Accounts and Category manager, Laura left in 2010 to take over as the Matrix Agent in Pretoria while she and Brandon started Slick Salon Solutions from their garage.
Andy Kunz
Started at L’Oréal SA in 1996, Firstly on L’Oréal Professional and then moved up to Kérastase. Heading up KZN as Regional Manager for 10 years. Refusing to give up the Durbs lifestyle and relocate to JHB, he took up the challenge as the Matrix Agent for the area. Starting from “0” he did this for 6 years , then went into partnership with Brandon to open up the distribution in the area.
Richard Miranda
Joined L’Oréal in 1988 as the National Sales Manager for all the Brands. Spent a few years abroad with Loreal in Sydney & Melbourne. He then left to join the Music Industry – spending 14 years at David Gresham Records. Making his comeback to the Hairdressing Industry with Slick in 2015 and is in charge of the Mycro Keratin Brand within the stable.
Arnold Shamrock
Joined the L’Oréal Professional Products team in 1989 , after being employed by Richard Miranda. Spending 15 years with the company, he was promoted from Sales Consultant on L'Oréal Professional to Sales Manager on Kérastase. He took a break from the industry and rejoined the hairdressing world 2 years ago as the Sales Manager for Slick Salon Solutions.
Marie van Zyl
Joining the world of Luxury in 2007, first with Tag Heuer SA, then spending 4 years with Dermalogica South Africa as their Strategic Brand Manager. She joined L’Oréal Professional Products Division and with her passion for the hairdressing industry, became Business Unit Manager of Kérastase in 2015. She then left the hustle and bustle of City Life to open a Luxury Hair Salon in Nelspruit. Marie joined the Slick Team in 2019 as the company's Virtual Marketing Consultant, to assist in building the brand's online presence and then as a partner in the Nelspruit Distribution Branch.
