The L’Oréal Colour Trophy, the most prestigious and anticipated competition of 2020, is under way and entries are opening soon.
Are you ready to showcase your talent and creative vision in this world renowned competition, which could take you the whole way to the international stage?
On the day that entries open we will be publishing a Stop Press to let the industry know.
In the meantime, what can you do?
You can start conceptualising your look with the following in mind:
• The Colour Trophy is all about well executed, inspirational, modern colour, showcasing a female look.
• This competition epitomises beautiful, wearable hair that is fashion-forward but which a consumer will love.
• Remember that it is NOT an avant-garde competition, the hairstyle must be commercial, even if fashion colours are used. It must appeal to a consumer who could wear it for a head-turning and gorgeous look.
• The colour must be complemented by a beautiful style, finish and total look inspired by upcoming trends. Your completed look must showcase the same values as L’Oréal Professionnel: Fashion: taking inspiration from trends Innovation: classic elements, with a brand new twist Pioneering: a colour that has not been done before and can be a future trend The work presented must be exceptionally executed and technically correct.
If you are not a L’Oréal Professionnel stockist and you would like to enter the Colour Trophy we would love you to get in touch so we can organise this! Everyone is welcome to enter, however you will need to use L’Oreal Professionnel colour and styling products on your model – now is your chance to become familiar with them.
