Bargaining Council: Update on Illegal Immigrants

In the light of the recent alleged xenophobic attacks, the Bargaining Council would like to update the industry on the steps that are being taken by the Department of Labour to ensure all hairdressers and barbers working in South Africa, do so legally and with the correct documentation in place. The Council condemns the violence that has taken place recently, and asks the industry to do likewise and to seek peaceful solutions to this problem, that comply with the law.

In this video, CEO Stephen Delport explains what is being done to ensure hairdressers and barbers in South Africa are working legally, and announces the upcoming conferences where you can have your say and engage with the decision makers.
