As some of you may know Twincare International has recently announced that they have acquired the Swedish brand REF. A brand that is passionate about natural beauty and embracing all of the world’s diverse people, culture and ethnical backgrounds. Something that definitely resonates with the South African culture as we move towards not only embracing natural beauty but also being more responsible with the choices we make.
REF (Reference of Sweden) is now available to all South Africans and is cruelty free, paraben free, sulphate free and 100% vegan. My name is Kevin Tabilo and I feel extremely privileged that after a short hiatus out of the industry I am back as the National Sales Manager for this incredible brand and even more so to be part of Twincare International family. I have been part of this rewarding industry for half a decade and I have always been of the belief that the partnership between hairdressers and brands is what drives the industry forward. We cannot exist without each other and it is our responsibility to bring the best and most innovative products into our consumers hands at a price that is not only affordable but also at the forefront of embracing environmental issues that are becoming more and more prevalent. This is at the core of what I believe and REF ticks all of the boxes for me in what a professional haircare brand should be.
I look forward to this next chapter in my career after having worked with some of the industry’s biggest and best brands and plan on bringing all of that energy and passion that you all know into growing REF into one of South Africa’s biggest professional brands.
