Red to Blonde Part 1: Shafia Cassiem Haffejee

Who says it can’t be done? This is how award winning Shafia Hafffejee, of David Shannon Hairdressing in Sunninghill, created this dramatic change on a client who had been red for most fo her life!
I slowly started treating her hair with Smartbond, a L’Oréal Professionnel product which restores broken bonds and works right into the cortex. I then started doing foils, effissor and 30%, lifting away that accumulated red. I toned her hair with 9/1 and 9/2 Dialight with 15% from L’Oreal Professionnel.
The process took more than 3 applications, with continuous treatments and the best aftercare including shampoo, conditioner and mask from LP’s Vitamino Color range. She is enjoying her glamorous new look!
