This incredible colour which defines and draws attention to the immaculate, trendy cut, was created by Shawn Odendaal at Paul James Hairdressing, Alberton.
Cut: The cut was performed with a Wahl Bellina clipper.
Colour: The client’s original base was a level 2-3. I used Matrix Light Master to bleach it up twice with 20-vol developer and Fibreplex treatment added. The processing time was about 50 minutes each time and this took it to a white colour, level 10.
I then toned it with Color Sync 10v and 8a, and Blue Boost Color Sync with Sync Developer, 20 min.
I dried the hair with a ghd dryer and styled it with Schwarzkopf Texture Clay and Matrix Style Fixer hairspray for the finishing touches! The client was very happy – the inspiration for the look came from a photo he showed me, and I gave him what he wanted and more!
