Candice McKay's Pow! Video Wins Award

Candice McKay’s fabulous Pow! video has just won an award at the Canadian Hairdresser’s Mirror Awards held on 11 June 2017. The funky pop-culture video features images inspired by the pop-art movement. Candice, owner of Wyatt Hairdressing in Johannesburg, says, “A huge thank you to Derrick Pitts for the video edit and concept, John Rawson for photography, Krassi Toma for Make Up, Klara Van Wyngaarden for Art Direction, Marc Ryan Rees for Model Direction, Jacques Van Der Watt of Black Coffee for clothing design, and my beautiful models. I would also like to thank Davines for their continual support of my career, without them I would not have been where I am today.” Candice also thanked the Canadian Hairdresser magazine for publishing her work.
